This didn't work quite as well as I had hoped but perhaps because the task I had set was too complex. I though the learners would have enjoyed the visual element of the task but they didn't engage with the material as much as I had hoped they would.
that's a real shame. I've been showing it to CELTA types. I think it's inspired and involves a lot...problem solving, a focus on past forms, visual appeal. The level might explain it. I'll still share it with esol colleagues elsewhere if that's ok with you
