I have tried to be a little more ambitious here as I want the participants to be able to do some independent study. I have linked some MP3 files and hyperlinks. I shall see how it goes in class.
This didn't work quite as well as I had hoped. This may be down to a number of reasons. Firstly, the group are not used to independent study so I think they were surprised I was not 'teaching'. We also inevitably had some technological problems: not being able to log in, having to complete a college survery prior to the exercise, headphones not working etc. However, when reviewed the material later on in the session, it was clear they had assimilated much of what they had read and they have the opportunity to look back at the Prezi. I plan to use the approach again but maybe with a little more guidance.
