Storybird

I'm going to give this a go tomorrow with my Level 3 group. I was interested in using this but wasn't sure how to incorporate it into my lesson. I have decided to use it as a kind of review of linguistic devices. I hope the participants enjoy it and can recognise my pictures!

  2. This worked surprisingly well. I used it at the end of the session as a quick review of the session. I felt this would work better than as a self-study tool as some of the pictures were open to interpretation. I used mini whiteboards to encourage the participants to record their responses and hold them up. We could then discuss why people had put what. I would also consider using Storybird as a kind of self-study review but it worked well today; one of my students called the linguistic devices we had been looking at as 'picture words'; I like this description!
